Numerary Member
Experimental Sciences: PhD in Geology
Date of admission: March 26, 2015
Admission speech: “Geology and Climate: An Approach to the Reconstruction of Ancient Climates from the Geological Record”
Reply speech: Dr. Enrique Tierno Pérez-Relaño, Doctor in Physical Sciences
Outstanding career: An international authority in stratigraphy, tectonics and sedimentary geology of the Iberian Mesozoic. His work has made a decisive contribution to understanding the geological history of the Mediterranean basin and the Earth’s crust.
