Shared Health: From the doctor who sows science and humanity, to the patient who cultivates and harvests life

Dr. Elisabeth Arrojo, internationally leading oncologist in cancer treatment and founder of the Medical Institute of Advanced Oncology (INMOA) and the National Center for Cancer Prevention in Spain, will give an inspiring speech on the need to give back soul and humanity to medicine, as well as knowledge and responsibility in preserving health, involving not only the sick, but also the healthy population.

He will provide revealing data such as the fact that 40% of cancer cases could be prevented by adopting healthy lifestyle habits. His presentation will explore the history and future of science, philosophy, and compassion, showing how 21st-century scientific advancement only reaches its full potential when combined with humanistic wisdom and emotional care. Drawing on his pioneering experience in oncology, with a comprehensive approach focused on the person and not solely on the disease, he will advocate for a medicine that combines innovation and evidence with empathy, awareness, responsibility, and ethical principles. Throughout his speech, he will share keys so that each individual—patient, professional, or citizen—can discover how they can contribute, based on their own life and experience, to the prevention and cure of cancer. Because, as you will recall, the true medical revolution is not only about curing, but about caring for, supporting, and transforming health into an act of love, responsibility, and awareness.
