• Expert of the Legal Assistance Program for Eastern European Countries of the Council of Europe, in collaboration with the Ministries of Justice of Romania, Moldova, the Judicial Studies Centre of the Ministry of Justice of Slovakia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.
• Expert of the European Commission, participating in the drafting of the Treaty of Amsterdam, the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the European Constitution and the Treaty of Lisbon.
• Member of the Group of Academic Contact of the Convention for the Future of Europe, representing academic networks reflecting on Europe’s future (2004).
• Visiting Professor at the universities of Montpellier I (France), Milan (Italy), Szczecin (Poland), Dzemal Bijedic of Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina), César Vallejo of Trujillo and San Pedro of Huaraz (Peru).
