SOLEDAD ATIENZA has a degree in Law from CEU San Pablo and a doctorate in social sciences from IE University. She has the “Zertifikat über Europäische Studien” from the Universität des Saarlandes, she is an Executive MBA from IE Business School and has the “Women on Boards” certificate from Harvard Business School.
She is currently dean of IE Law School, IE University. She is co-chair of the Law Schools Global League and the International Bar Association‘s Commission on the Future of Legal Services. She is director of the Pérez-Llorca IE Chair of Commercial Law and member of the Board of Trustees of the ICAM Cortina Foundation. She previously practiced as a lawyer in Pérez-Llorca.
She has extensive international academic experience and a global vision of legal education and the international practice of law. Her research focuses on law teaching methodologies. Her publications include:
