- Extensive professional experience in management and consultancy.
- Professor of Marketing at the IESE since 1978.
- He began his career at the Arthur Andersen office in Milan, which coordinated the Southern European region.
- He joined Star Food, Italy, as assistant to the president and head of subsidiaries.
- In 1970 he moved to Spain, where he held the position of Deputy Managing Director and Board Member of Starlux S.A..
- In 1978 he joined Martini & Rossi as Deputy Managing Director and Board Member for Spain and Portugal.
- He combined this position with serving as Vice President of Marqués de Monistrol and President of Martini & Rossi Morocco.
- In 1985 he founded Barna Consulting Group, a strategic consulting firm specializing in commercial distribution, sales management, customer loyalty and executive coaching, which he currently chairs.
- He has combined his professional career with teaching, reflected in the publication of nine books.
- He has provided consulting and training services for numerous companies, including:
Telefónica, Gas Natural, La Caixa, Repsol, Crèdit Andorrà, Schindler, Novartis, Cadbury, Dior, Swatch, Heineken, Nestlé, González Byass, Volkswagen-Audi Spain, Endesa, Pronovias and Allianz.
