• He has devoted his professional career to auditing and the preparation of expert reports.
• Partner at the auditing firm Gironella Velasco Auditores, S.A.
• He is the longest-serving active auditor in Spain (more than 46 years).
• Former President of the Territorial Association in Catalonia of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (College of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia currently).
• Was a member of the Standards and Procedures Committee of the Register of Economist Auditors.
• Coordinator of the Degree and Master’s in Auditing offered by the University School of Business Studies of the University of Barcelona.
• Professor of Auditing and Financial Statement Analysis at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) for 17 years.
• He has also taught auditing for many years in numerous institutions across Spain and has been an active lecturer at congresses, seminars, professional associations, technical conferences and chambers of commerce.

• Author of three books and numerous articles on accounting, auditing and finance, some of which, due to their innovative nature, have been followed and taught to generations of auditors.

• The College of Economists of Catalonia awarded him in 2007 the distinction of Economist of the Year, professional office category.
