\"\"Senator Santiago Castell\u00e0<\/strong><\/a>, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) and general secretary of the Pro-Royal European Academy of Doctors Foundation<\/strong>, visited the International Criminal Court<\/strong><\/a> (CPI-ICC), based in The Hague, on September 2 with a group of students from the Master in International Criminal Justice<\/strong> of the Rovira i Virgili University<\/strong><\/a> that he promoted and directs. The delegation held various work meetings and was received by the president of this institution, Chile Eboe-Osuji<\/strong>, and its entire Secretariat. The group was coordinated by Jaume Antich<\/strong>, general secretary of the CPI-ICC Bar Association<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aimed primarily at law graduates, the master’s degree aims at deepening in the International Criminal Justice to facilitate professional access to international courts and institutions and the defense of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law at the state and international level. Its professional outlets include access to international courts and institutions related to International Criminal Justice, non-governmental organizations with specific programs of International Criminal Justice, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, or the jurisdictional and governmental state agencies related to the investigation and prosecution of international crimes.<\/p>\n

The academic coordination of the master is in charge of the prestigious criminals specialized in International Criminal Justice Kenneth Gallant<\/strong>, professor at the University of Arkansas<\/strong><\/a> and member of the Resources Commission of the International Criminal Court, and Claudio Marcelo Lamela<\/strong>, lawyer of the Bar Association of the International Criminal Court . Among the twenty teachers of the course are outstanding specialists and international reference names in the field.<\/p>\n

Doctor in Public International Law from the University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, \u200b\u200bCastell\u00e0 has worked for 25 years as a professor in the Department of Public Law of the Rovira y Virgili University<\/strong><\/a>, a university where he has also been dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, vicerector for External and International Relations, director of the Master in Environmental Law<\/strong>, the Master in Global Immigration Management<\/strong>, the Master in International Development Cooperation<\/strong> and this Master in International Criminal Justice. He currently combines his responsibility as director of the Tarragona Smart Mediterranean City Chair<\/strong> with the direction of the Master of Smart City Managenent of Zigurat-University of Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
