The two academicians of both institutions renew the Governing Board of the RACEF.<\/p>\n<p>Former president of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caixabank.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>La Caixa<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionbancarialacaixa.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>La Caixa Banking Foundation<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caixabank.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CaixaBank<\/strong><\/a>, Pint\u00f3 has a long professional and academic career that earned the award of the <strong>Cross of Saint Georges<\/strong>, the highest distinction of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gencat.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Catalan Government<\/strong><\/a>, among other honours. Lawyer of formation, he follows to the front of its own office. Gil, on the other hand, is a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> and also directs the O<strong>bservatory of Economic-Financial Research<\/strong> of the RACEF, which has carried out important studies on the economy of countries such as Azerbaijan or Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The Governing Board of the RAED hopes that this renewal will strengthen the work of RACEF in its tireless work for the development of economic and financial studies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jos\u00e9 Juan Pint\u00f3, emeritus academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), and Ana Mar\u00eda Gil, supernumerary member of the RAED, have been appointed, respectively, vice-president and librarian of the Spanish Royal Academy of Economics and Financial Sciences (RACEF), chaired by Jaime Gil.
