The tribute took place in the Town Hall of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lagranja-valsain.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Real Sitio de San Ildefonso<\/strong><\/a> and coincided with the <a href=\"http:\/\/eljudion.lagranja-valsain.com\/jornadas-gastronomicas-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>2nd Gastronomic Conference of La Granja<\/strong><\/a>, held in this municipality of the Community of Castile and Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>The academician also gave the conference <strong>&#8220;Evoluci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n relacionada con la alimentaci\u00f3n y la nutrici\u00f3n: retos de adaptaci\u00f3n por el consumidor&#8221;<\/strong> (Evolution of information related to food and nutrition: challenges of adaptation by the consumer), where he presented some of the advances in the subject of which he himself was the architect as head of Health and Food Safety in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lechepuleva.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Puleva Food<\/strong><\/a>, director of the Area of \u200b\u200bHealth and Food in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uniondeconsumidores.info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Consumers Union of Spain<\/strong><\/a>, technical coordinator of the magazine <strong>&#8220;Ciudadano&#8221;<\/strong> or analysis technician of the<strong> Institute of the Cold<\/strong> of the Spanish <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csic.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Superior Council of Scientific Investigations<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Urrialde was also a collaborator of the <strong>Chair of Plant Physiology<\/strong> at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucm.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Complutense University of Madrid<\/strong><\/a> and is currently director of Health and Nutrition of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccepiberia.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Coca-Cola Iberia<\/strong><\/a>. At the end of his presentation, the academician made official delivery to the City Council of the Real Sitio for deposit in the Historical Archive of the original of his doctoral thesis on the nutritional content of the &#8220;judi\u00f3n&#8221; (great bean).<\/p>\n<p>The contest also recognized with the prize <strong>&#8220;Best Harvest 2018&#8221;<\/strong> to <strong>Jos\u00e9 Dorrego<\/strong>, farmer of the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso.
