{"id":61553,"date":"2018-11-21T08:58:42","date_gmt":"2018-11-21T08:58:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/?p=61553"},"modified":"2018-11-26T13:19:22","modified_gmt":"2018-11-26T13:19:22","slug":"sowing-education-and-equality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/sowing-education-and-equality\/","title":{"rendered":"Sowing education and equality"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Rosal\u00eda Arteaga, honorary academician, disseminates in Argentina, Spain and Bolivia her project to build a better future<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-rosalia-arteaga-serrano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Rosal\u00eda Arteaga<\/strong><\/a>, former president of Ecuador, president of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fidal-amlat.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Foundation for the Integration and Development of Latin America<\/strong><\/a> (Fidal) and honorary academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED), has visited Argentina, Spain and Bolivia to share positive messages about culture, environment, gender equality, democracy, education and technology. Last August, the Senate of the province of Buenos Aires declared her an illustrious visitor, an honorary title given by the president <strong>Daniel Marcelo Salvador<\/strong> in the Golden Hall of the Legislative Palace.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_61341\" style=\"width: 440px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-61341\" class=\"wp-image-61341\" src=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Rosalia-Arteaga-int.jpg\" alt=\"Rosal\u00eda Arteaga\" width=\"430\" height=\"202\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-61341\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dra. Rosal\u00eda Arteaga<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In Argentina, she gave a talk entitled <strong>&#8220;El rol de las mujeres ante el reto de la sostenibilidad&#8221;<\/strong> (The role of women in the face of the challenge of sustainability), within the framework of the training course <strong>&#8220;Los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible y la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional&#8221;<\/strong> (The objectives of sustainable development and international cooperation). She also addressed education issues with the vice-president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/unlp.edu.ar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>National University of La Plata<\/strong><\/a> (UNLP), <strong>Marco Actis<\/strong>, and its secretary of Institutional Relations, <strong>Juan Carlos Mart\u00edn<\/strong>. At the highest level, she also maintained contact with the minister of Agricultural Industries, <strong>Leonardo Sarqu\u00eds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Arteaga participated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/enlighted.education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>EnlightED<\/strong><\/a> meeting, held in Madrid. An event organized by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telefonica.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Telef\u00f3nica<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciontelefonica.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Telef\u00f3nica Foundation<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ie.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>IE University<\/strong><\/a> that addressed the impact of technology on education and the values \u200b\u200bthat a digital society should play. The academician intervened with the paper <strong>&#8220;Reinventar la educaci\u00f3n en un mundo digital&#8221;<\/strong> (Reinventing education in a digital world). From there, she left for Bolivia, where she presented his books <strong>&#8220;Conjuros&#8221;<\/strong> (Spells), <strong>&#8220;Jer\u00f3nimo y los otros Jer\u00f3nimos&#8221;<\/strong> (Jer\u00f3nimo and the other Jer\u00f3nimos) and <strong>&#8220;Rosa Carm\u00edn&#8221;<\/strong>, at an event held in Oruro. There she gave the lecture <strong>&#8220;C\u00f3mo trabajar la educaci\u00f3n ambiental&#8221;<\/strong> (How to work environmental education). Even in the Andean country, in Cochabamba, she gave a conference on leadership and empowerment of women in the current context.
