{"id":57491,"date":"2018-10-04T10:35:39","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T10:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raed.academy\/?p=57491"},"modified":"2018-10-08T15:53:59","modified_gmt":"2018-10-08T15:53:59","slug":"a-commemorative-plaque-to-jose-maria-simon-tor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/a-commemorative-plaque-to-jose-maria-simon-tor\/","title":{"rendered":"A life in the care of sight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-57314\" src=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/placa-honorifica-Josep-Maria-Simon-Tor.jpg\" alt=\"Placa honor\u00edfica a Josep Maria Sim\u00f3n Tor\" width=\"430\" height=\"319\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-josep-maria-simon-tor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Sim\u00f3n<\/strong><\/a>, honorary president of the International <a href=\"http:\/\/fiamc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Federation of Catholic Medical Associations<\/strong><\/a> and academician emeritus of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED), has received a commemorative plaque in recognition of his vast and successful professional career within the framework of the 94th Congress of the <a href=\"http:\/\/oftalmoseo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Spanish Society of Ophthalmology<\/strong><\/a>, which was held in Granada between September 26 and 29.<\/p>\n<p>The academician has combined over the years his professional work at the head of his own clinic with his dedication to the Spanish and French ophthalmology societies, to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metgescristians.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Association of Christian Doctors of Catalonia<\/strong><\/a>, which he also presided, and to RAED itself.
