The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) held, on July 2nd to 5th, its “Conciertos con Alma”<\/strong> (“Concerts with Soul”), featuring on this occasion Sheila G\u00f3mez<\/strong> (violin) and Iv\u00e1n Mart\u00edn<\/strong> (piano) and the Eyes of the World Foundation<\/strong><\/a>. The cycle thus fulfilled its dual purpose of bringing great performers to Barcelona and spreading the cause of solidarity of a guest organisation. As on previous occasions, the recital was held at the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> and had the support of Jorquera Pianos<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The musical programme included a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven<\/strong>‘s well-known Sonata number 1 in D major, the Nocturne number 20 in C minor by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin<\/strong> and various works by Gabriel Faur\u00e9<\/strong>, Fritz Kreisler<\/strong>; all once executed with great\u00a0mastery by Chopin himself.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n\t\t
