Mari\u00e0ngela Vilallonga<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Mari\u00e0ngela Vilallonga<\/strong>, director of the <strong>Chair of Literary Heritage Maria \u00c0ngels Anglada-Carles Fages de Climent<\/strong> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udg.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University of Girona<\/strong><\/a> (UdG) and an elected full academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED), will lead the act of homage to the poet <strong>Xavier Carb\u00f3 Maym\u00ed<\/strong> that will be celebrated this Wednesday, May 30, at 6:00 pm, in the Hall of Degrees of the UdG on the occasion of the centenary of his death.<\/p>\n<p>During the ceremony, the dossier that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cassadigital.cat\/llumiguia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Llumiguia<\/strong> <\/a>cultural magazine dedicates to the work and the figure of Carb\u00f3 i Maym\u00ed will be presented. Numerous writers and specialist of his work have collaborated in its writing. As well, the reissue of the book <strong>&#8220;Migjorn&#8221;<\/strong> will be presented. The book is a complete poetic anthology of the honouree published just one month ago.<\/p>\n<p>The event will include the participation of <strong>Mart\u00ed Vall\u00e8s<\/strong>, mayor of Cass\u00e0 de la Selva; <strong>S\u00edlvia Llach<\/strong>, Vice-chancellor of Territory and Social Commitment of the UdG; <strong>\u00c0ngel Quintana<\/strong>, dean of the <strong>Faculty of Letters<\/strong> of the UdG; <strong>Narc\u00eds Comadira<\/strong>, poet and painter; <strong>Narc\u00eds Figueras<\/strong>, professor at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uoc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Open University of Catalonia<\/strong><\/a>; <strong>Joan Carles Codol\u00e0<\/strong>, director of the Llumiguia magazine; <strong>Xavier Carb\u00f3
