Pilar Bayer<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-pilar-bayer-isant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pilar Bayer<\/strong><\/a>, professor emeritus of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> and full academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED), participates in the commemorative events to mark the third centenary of the birth of Italian mathematics <strong>Maria Gaetana Agnesi<\/strong> (1718-1799) organized by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xeix.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Balearic Society of Mathematics<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uib.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Higher Polytechnic School of the University of the Balearic Islands<\/strong><\/a>. The academician will deliver this same May 15, in the auditorium of the Sa Riera building, the lecture <strong>&#8220;Les lectores de Newton&#8221;<\/strong> (The readers of Newton) and a day later she will present the work <strong>&#8220;Uniformitzaci\u00f3 de les corbes de Fermat&#8221;<\/strong> (Uniformisation of Fermat Curves) in the <strong>Department of Mathematics and Computer Science<\/strong> of the Higher Polytechnic School.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, on May 17, at 7:00 pm, at the University of Barcelona will take place the 32nd edition of the <strong>Spring Concert<\/strong> of students and professors of the <strong>Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics<\/strong>.
