Amat, one of the founders of the ACCID, will continue on the Governing Board as the first vice-president. It&#8217;s added as second vice-president <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-alfredo-rocafort-nicolau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Alfredo Rocafort<\/strong><\/a>, at the same time president of the RAED. The also academician <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dra-montserrat-casanovas-ramon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Montserrat Casanovas<\/strong><\/a> will act as vocal.<\/p>\n<p>Faura holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, a Law degree and is a certified Accountant. He is the founder of the renowned audit firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faura-casas.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Faura-Casas Auditores Consultores<\/strong><\/a>. &#8220;Our challenge now is to deepen and stimulate debate among professionals and academicians, promote research, the recognition of good practices of organizations and professionals, publishing and disseminating content and developments in accounting and financial information, and also consolidate ACCID as the institution of reference in Catalonia in the generation of knowledge in the accounting and corporate areas&#8221;, said the new president after taking office.<\/p>\n<p>The ACCID was founded in 2002 at the initiative of different professional associations in order to improve the transparency of financial information, promote, stimulate and recognize the best professional and academic practices, promote research and new developments and publish publications.
