The YouTube channel of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) already has the video summary of the academic session “Impacto social de las grandes infraestructuras: el caso de la Sagrada Familia”<\/strong> (Social impact of major infrastructure: the case of the Sagrada Familia), held in Barcelona on 18 January. With a debate format, the event was part of the cycle of activities promoted by the Section of Technological Sciences and was attended by the full academicians Jaume Armengou<\/strong><\/a>, Antonio Gens<\/strong><\/a> and Jaime Rodrigo de Larrucea<\/strong><\/a>, who acted as moderator, in addition to the experts Antonio Aguado<\/strong> and Rosa Ribas<\/strong>. Jos\u00e9 Luis Salido<\/strong><\/a>, general secretary of the RAED, presented the event and the speakers.<\/p>\n

The session addressed aspects as diverse as the management and evaluation of the social impact of large architectural and urban projects, the analysis of the materials and constructive solutions of the temple, the analysis of its facades and the light that receives the basilica or the problems of the land and the foundations from the new works, especially the passage of the AVE and the new underground line.<\/p>\n
