{"id":41761,"date":"2018-02-20T11:31:53","date_gmt":"2018-02-20T11:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raed.academy\/?p=41761"},"modified":"2018-02-24T15:09:04","modified_gmt":"2018-02-24T15:09:04","slug":"work-invest-and-pay-taxes-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/work-invest-and-pay-taxes-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"Work, invest and pay taxes in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>&#8220;The tax exemption has been extended to entities resident in Spain that obtain their income abroad&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-josep-maria-bove-montero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Josep Maria Bov\u00e9<\/strong><\/a>, full academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) and president of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bovemontero.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bov\u00e9 Montero y Asociados<\/strong><\/a>, one of the leading Spanish firms in the field of audit and consulting, held with the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.camarafrancesa.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">French<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.camarafrancesa.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong> in Barcelona the session\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Actualidad fiscal desde la perspectiva de la Administraci\u00f3n Tributaria&#8221;<\/strong> (Tax news from the perspective of the Tax Administration). The day, held last February 14th at the Barcelona headquarters of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coleconomistes.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Association of Economists of Catalonia<\/strong><\/a>, was attended by a hundred financial executives and representatives of the consular corps in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Bov\u00e9 defended what he considered an &#8220;extraordinary local human capital&#8221; as a factor in attracting foreign investments in Spain. Likewise, he advocated tax incentives as valid instruments to support business activity. In this same forum, the inspector of the Spanish Tax Agency <strong>Jos\u00e9 Antonio L\u00f3pez-Santacruz<\/strong> indicated that the collection in Spain for Corporate Tax has been reduced by 43.18% in the 2007-2017 period, from the initial 44,000 million euros to 25,000 million euros last year.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00f3pez-Santacruz attributed this evolution, in addition to the effects of the economic crisis, to the fact that the taxation of Corporate Tax has been reduced. &#8220;The application of the exemption has been extended to business income that entities resident in Spanish territory obtain abroad&#8221;, he said. For the finance technician, the existence of international tax planning schemes &#8220;is aggressive and unacceptable in the current framework of the states&#8217; revenue deficit&#8221;.
