The YouTube channel of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) already has the video summary of the act of admission as full academician of Juan Trias de Bes<\/strong><\/a>, which was held in Barcelona on September 14. The recipient read the entry speech “Barcelona, galer\u00eda urbana”<\/strong> (Barcelona, \u200b\u200burban gallery), a tour of three major urban actions that have marked the current configuration of the city. He was answered on behalf of the RAED by full academician Jaime Rodrigo de Larrucea<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Born in Barcelona in 1964, the new academician is an architect from the School of Architecture of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>. He opened his professional studio TDB Arquitectura in 1992 and is the author of institutional works such as the Sarri\u00e0 University Residence, the headquarters of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, the headquarters of the Gr\u00edfols laboratories or the ESADE<\/strong> <\/a>Business School in the Campus of Sant Cugat del Vall\u00e9s (Barcelona). In the field of building rehabilitation, his projects include the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthe Convention Centre and ESADE’s institutional headquarters in Barcelona, along with the Casa Bur\u00e9s building, intended for collective housing, also in Barcelona.<\/p>\n
