{"id":36426,"date":"2017-10-20T09:46:09","date_gmt":"2017-10-20T09:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raed.academy\/?p=36426"},"modified":"2017-10-25T17:16:56","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T17:16:56","slug":"protection-of-the-numismatic-and-archaeological-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/protection-of-the-numismatic-and-archaeological-heritage\/","title":{"rendered":"The challenge of protecting heritage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-albert-estrada-rius\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Albert Estrada-Rius<\/strong><\/a>, corresponding academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) and responsible for the conservation of the <strong>Numismatic Cabinet of Catalonia<\/strong>, is responsible for coordinating the act <strong>&#8220;La protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio numism\u00e1tico y arqueol\u00f3gico: actualidad y retos de futuro&#8221;<\/strong> (The protection of the numismatic and archaeological heritage: current and future challenges), to be held on October 26 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>National Museum of Art of Catalonia<\/strong><\/a>. The program is divided in four round tables which will address the legal and regulatory frameworks for heritage protection, police experience in the pursuit of numismatic and archaeological expolio and their protection, their protection by the Administration and the pedagogical challenge to disseminate the importance of the patrimonial protection.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_36345\"
