The recipient will read the entry speech <strong>&#8220;Barcelona, \u200b\u200bgaler\u00eda urbana&#8221;<\/strong> (Barcelona, urban gallery). On behalf of the RAED will answer the full academician <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-jaime-rodrigo-de-larrucea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jaime Rodrigo de Larrucea<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Barcelona in 1964, Trias de Bes is an architect by the <a href=\"http:\/\/etsab.upc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>. He opened his professional studio TDB Arquitectura in 1992 and is the author of institutional works such as the Sarri\u00e0 University Residence, the headquarters of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.academia.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands<\/strong><\/a>, the headquarters of the Gr\u00edfols laboratories or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esade.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ESADE<\/strong> <\/a>Business School in the Campus of Sant Cugat del Vall\u00e9s (Barcelona). In the field of the rehabilitation of buildings he credits interventions such as the Mandar\u00edn Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthe Convention Center and the ESADE institutional headquarters in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bor the Casa Bur\u00e9s building, which is intended for collective housing, also in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>He is a member of the Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Industrialized and Sustainable Building of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uic.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>International University of Catalonia<\/strong><\/a> (UIC), where he directs the hARQware Chair, focused on innovation and development of our information and communication technologies (ICT) related to architecture. In the field of teaching, he is responsible for the Projects area of \u200b\u200bthe UIC School of Architecture, where he teaches degree and final project courses, and regularly participates in courses in different countries. He has published numerous articles and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Building Board of the Sagrada Fam\u00edlia in Barcelona.
