Three new Nobel prizes will enter the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) as honorary academicians during the celebration of the Third International Event, the European Congress of Interdisciplinary Research, entitled\u00a0“La evoluci\u00f3n de la ciencia en el siglo XXI” (<\/strong>The evolution of science in the XXI century) and to be held between 15 and 22 July in different Baltic cities.<\/p>\n

The first of the new honorary members will be Erwin Neher<\/strong>, Nobel prize in Medicine in 1991, who will read the entry speech “Neuronal Signaling and Brain Research”<\/strong>. On behalf of the RAED will answer the full academician Ramon Cugat<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also will enter Jerome Isaac Friedman<\/strong>, Nobel prize of Physics in 1990, with the speech “Are we really made of quarks?”<\/strong>. The answer in the name of the Royal Academy will be in this case in charge of the full academician and president of the Section of Sciences of the Health Maria \u00c0ngels Calvo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finally, Christopher Pissarides<\/strong>, Nobel prize in Economics in 2010, will enter with the work “Robots, Artificial Intelligence and the future of work”<\/strong>. The answer will correspond to the full academician and treasurer of the RAED Jordi Mart\u00ed<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
