During the event, the recipient reflected on the reasons that aggravated the international economic and financial crisis in countries as Spain, Italy and Portugal, whose economies have analyzed in depth, to conclude that the main element that aggravated the situation was an alarming decrease in the productivity that goes back to the 90&#8217;s of last century. &#8220;The main challenge of these economies should be to reflect their productivity, bet on innovation and sustainable development and implement effective and constant economic policies over time&#8221;, he said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_29387\" style=\"width: 530px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29387\" class=\"wp-image-29387\" src=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Finn-Kydland-acto-ingreso-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Acto de ingreso del Dr. Finn Kydland\" width=\"520\" height=\"346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Finn-Kydland-acto-ingreso-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Finn-Kydland-acto-ingreso.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-29387\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-finn-kydland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kydland<\/strong><\/a> was received on behalf of the RAED by the full academician <strong>Jos\u00e9 Ramon Calvo<\/strong>. <span title=\"El acto cont\u00f3 con el patrocinio de la Fundaci\u00f3n Cajasol y su presidente y tambi\u00e9n acad\u00e9mico de la RAED, Antonio Pulido, copresidi\u00f3 la sesi\u00f3n junto al presidente de la Real Academia, Alfredo Rocafort. \">The event was sponsored by the <a href=\"http:\/\/fundacioncajasol.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Cajasol Foundation<\/strong><\/a> and its<\/span> president and also full academician of the RAED, <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-antonio-pulido-gutierrez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Antonio Pulido<\/strong><\/a>, co-chaired the session with the president of the Royal Academy, <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-alfredo-rocafort-nicolau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alfredo Rocafort<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Carnegie Mellon University<\/strong><\/a>, Kydland received the Nobel prize with <strong>Edward Prescott<\/strong> for his contributions to dynamic macroeconomics, the consistency over time of economic policy and the driving forces of the business cycle.
