We now know how to manage and eliminate if these proteins are needed inside cells, for example, ubiquitin recycle these proteins that can end up hurting us&#8221;.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Hershko01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23299\" src=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Hershko01-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Hershko has made these reflections during his admission as honorary academician of the <strong>Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED), in a ceremony that was held in Barcelona this Tuesday, March 7. Its introducer has been the full academician of the RAED <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-jose-daniel-barquero-cabrero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Daniel Barquero<\/strong><\/a>.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Hershko02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23303\" src=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Hershko02-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Hershko was awarded the Nobel prize for his discoveries of protein degradation caused by ubiquitin with <a
