\"\"<\/a>“Until the year 2000, chest X-ray studies were carried out in patients at risk, smokers between 50 and 75 years of age, and it was not effective. The chest CT scan has been able to locate these lung nodules that may be malignant. Now it would be to perform the TAC on patients at risk, as are mammograms or other tests in a systematic way”.<\/p>\n

Molins has made these reflections during his admission as full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), in a ceremony that was held in Barcelona this thursday, February 23.
