The award was presented on October 24 to the winner by the president of the RAED, <a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/en\/academicians\/dr-alfredo-rocafort-nicolau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alfredo Rocafort<\/strong><\/a>, who heads the academic delegation that these days has shifted to Mexico.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/FOTO-2-PREMIO-MEJOR-TESISweb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-14442\" src=\"http:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/FOTO-2-PREMIO-MEJOR-TESISweb-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"foto-2-premio-mejor-tesisweb\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/FOTO-2-PREMIO-MEJOR-TESISweb-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/FOTO-2-PREMIO-MEJOR-TESISweb.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>The distinction follows the agreement signed one year ago between the RAED, the 32 Mexican higher education institutions grouped in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cieslag.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Commonwealth of Institutions of Higher Education of La Laguna<\/strong><\/a> (Cieslag) and other Mexican universities.<\/h3>\n<h3>Rocafort also presented the Centennial Medal to the governors of the states of Durango and Coahuila, to the mayor of Torreon, the mayor of the municipality of Lerdo, the rector of the Autonomous University of Coahuila and the president of the Cieslag during the opening ceremony of the Research Conference of the Cieslag.
