Shaped over centuries by the river&#8217;s input, it is now facing accelerated decline due to a lack of sediment, natural subsidence, and rising sea levels. Should it be restored? What alternatives exist, and what criteria should be used to make decisions when public resources are limited?<\/p>\n<p>In this RAED session, the Delta&#8217;s dilemma will be presented as a real-life case of decision-making under uncertainty, where ecological, social, economic, and political factors converge.
