PINT\u00d3 I SOL\u00c9<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>UNIVERSITY DEGREES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduated in Biology from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> in 1985. As a graduate, she worked at the <a href=\"http:\/\/iats.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Institut d\u2019Aq\u00fcicultura de Torre de la Sal<\/strong><\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CSIC<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In 1990 she obtained her PhD in Biology, with Extraordinary Award, also from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>. Pint\u00f3 i Sol\u00e9 (Solsona, 1962)<\/h3><p>Se licenci\u00f3 en Biolog\u00eda en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/portal\/ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Universitat de Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> en 1985. Como Licenciada trebaj\u00f3 en el <a href=\"http:\/\/iats.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Institut d\u2019Aq\u00fcicultura de Torre de la Sal<\/strong><\/a> del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CSIC<\/strong><\/a>. El a\u00f1o 1990 obtubo el t\u00edtulo de Doctora en Biolog\u00eda, con Premip Extraordinario, tambi\u00e9n en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/portal\/ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Universitat de Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>. Posteriormente, sigui\u00f3 su formaci\u00f3n con una estancia post-doctoral en el Instituto de Virolog\u00eda de Oxford durante los a\u00f1os 1991-1992. En 1995 obtiene una plaza de Profesora Titular de Universidad y actualmente es Catedr\u00e1tica de Microbiolog\u00eda en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/portal\/ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Universitat de Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>Ha impartido docencia de Virolog\u00eda, Vacunas v\u00edricas y Control de virus en alimentos en veinte asignaturas repartidas entre seis Grados y cuatro Masters, y ha dirigido trece Tesis Doctorales. Adicionalmente, ha actuado como supervisora \u200b\u200bde tesis doctorales del departamento de Virolog\u00eda de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.up.ac.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Universidad de Pretoria<\/strong><\/a> y del Instituto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pasteur.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pasteur de Paris<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>Su investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 centrada en el \u00e1mbito de la Virolog\u00eda. Desde 2002 y de forma continuada ha sido investigadora principal de proyectos del Plan Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica, Desarrollo e Innovaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica, as\u00ed como de varios contratos con empresas. Ha publicado m\u00e1s de ciento veinte y cinco art\u00edculos en revistas internacionales indexadas.
