Pedro Nueno is a Technical Architect, Industrial Engineer, and Doctor in Business Administration from Harvard University. He is a Professor in the Entrepreneurship Department at IESE. He was the founder and is currently Honorary President of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a leading business school in Asia, with campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra, and Zurich. For six years (2005-2011), he was a member of the Visiting Committee of Harvard Business School. He has served on the boards of numerous companies in Spain, the United States, and other countries.<\/p>\n

He is the founder of Finaves, the venture capital fund based at IESE that has supported over 60 companies, generating more than 10,000 direct jobs in total. His areas of interest include entrepreneurship, the creation of new businesses, global management, and the leadership of technology and innovation.<\/p>\n

He is the author of 26 books translated into different languages on topics such as restructuring, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He has received numerous honors, including the Cross of St. George (2003), the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Government of China (2014), and the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic (2015). In 2016, he was named Honorary Member of the Superior Council of Doctors and Doctors Honoris Causa for his academic and entrepreneurial contributions, and in 2019, he was inducted as a Full Member of the European Royal Academy of Doctors.<\/p>\n
