ROC\u00cdO M. NAVEJA OLIVA<\/strong>, holds a degree in Economics from the University of Guadalajara<\/strong><\/a>, a Master\u2019s degree in Human and Social Development, and a Doctorate in Criminal Policy. She also undertook Master\u2019s studies in Marketing and a specialisation in International Business. She is accredited in the Tec Beyond Executive Innovation Program.<\/p>\n

Founder and Rector of the Universidad Humani Mundial<\/strong><\/a> for the past 20 years, she has been a pioneer in Guanajuato in the implementation of programmes in Criminology, Logistics and Gerontology, as well as leading the first private institution in Mexico to offer the Master\u2019s degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology and the Doctorate in Criminology.<\/p>\n

She has 30 years of academic experience in various institutions across the country. She is President of the Guanajuato branch of SOMECRIM. She is a member of CIECRIM, the Ibero-American Network of Forensic Sciences and Criminology, REDPOLYSEG and INEJ. She has published with UNAM, REDPOLYSEG and CNDH, and has delivered national and international lectures in eight countries.<\/p>\n

As a public official in municipalities of Jalisco, she has served as Presidential Adviser, Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Investments.<\/p>\n

In the business sphere, she is Adviser to the Women\u2019s Association, AMMJE, and the Employers\u2019 Confederation COPARMEX. She is Founder of the State College of Economists of Guanajuato and Adviser to BANCREA Bank.<\/p>\n

As a municipal and state social activist, over the past 15 years she has had a distinguished role as Adviser on Security in Guanajuato, at the Municipal Planning Institute of Le\u00f3n (IMPLAN), within the Citizen Network of the State Anti-Corruption Committee, Alerta \u00c1MBER, and the Network of Adolescents in Conflict with the Law in Guanajuato. She is founding President of the Citizen Board for Security and Justice of Le\u00f3n and President of the Le\u00f3n Citizen Observatory. She collaborates with foundations dedicated to addiction care.<\/p>\n

She participates in rehabilitation programmes in the Guanajuato and Federal prison systems. In community support, she created the Post-Prison House for released persons and implements comprehensive development programmes for adolescents in basic education schools aimed at preventing risk behaviours.<\/p>\n
