L&#8217;acte es va poder seguir tant de manera presencial com en streaming a trav\u00e9s del canal de <strong>YouTube<\/strong> de la RAED, on es pot visionar. El recipienari va llegir el discurs d&#8217;ingr\u00e9s <strong>&#8220;\u00bfHacia d\u00f3nde va la publicidad? Lecciones del pasado para intuir el futuro&#8221;<\/strong>. Li va respondre, en nom de la Reial Acad\u00e8mia, l&#8217;acad\u00e8mic de n\u00famero de la RAED <a href=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/ca\/academics\/dr-francisco-javier-garrido-morales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Francisco Javier Garrido<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>El nou acad\u00e8mic va oferir un ampli panorama de la hist\u00f2ria de la publicitat analitzant-ne el present, repassant de manera succinta la seva hist\u00f2ria i entreveient els seus reptes de futur. En aquest sentit, va comen\u00e7ar preguntant-se si la publicitat actual es troba en un mer proc\u00e9s d&#8217;evoluci\u00f3 o b\u00e9 en un context de disrupci\u00f3, i per aix\u00f2 va analitzar-ne la transformaci\u00f3 al llarg del segle XX i el que portem de segle XXI, el significat de la irrupci\u00f3 massiva de les xarxes socials, l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 dels dispositius intel\u00b7ligents, els canvis als mitjans publicitaris i la transformaci\u00f3 dels missatges publicitaris i les noves m\u00e8triques, for\u00e7ades pels canvis tecnol\u00f2gics i de recepci\u00f3 dels seus missatges.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;En els dos primers decennis del segle XXI la publicitat sembla haver perdut la seva identitat, ja que l&#8217;\u00fas generalitzat del tel\u00e8fon intel\u00b7ligent, la irrupci\u00f3 massiva de les xarxes socials i la crisi econ\u00f2mica del 2008 han q\u00fcestionat obertament algunes de les seves notes definit\u00f2ries. Per exemple, la de ser un missatge persuasiu, enviat a un p\u00fablic indiscriminat, que funciona en un sistema tancat de tres elements (anunciant, ag\u00e8ncia, mitj\u00e0 de comunicaci\u00f3), que transmet el missatge de forma unilateral i sense &#8216;feedback&#8217; del consumidor&#8221;, ha assenyalat abans de remetre&#8217;s al passat per continuar construint el discurs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-141111 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/anuncios-publicidad-social-carteles.webp\" sizes=\"(max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/anuncios-publicidad-social-carteles.webp 600w, https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/anuncios-publicidad-social-carteles-440x264.webp 440w\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"315\" \/>Bussejant a la hist\u00f2ria de la publicitat, M\u00e9ndiz va sorprendre l&#8217;auditori revelant el primer anunci de la hist\u00f2ria, a l&#8217;Antic Egipte, que va obrir l&#8217;era d&#8217;un m\u00f3n amb publicitat. Va definir les grans etapes i va establir el seu estudi presentant els primers llibres sobre hist\u00f2ria de la publicitat. Pel que fa a les seves tend\u00e8ncies de futur, va marcar la transici\u00f3 de la publicitat convencional a la no convencional, les noves tend\u00e8ncies i formats, els anomenats &#8220;Product placement&#8221; i &#8220;Branded content&#8221;, la publicitat transm\u00e8dia i el m\u00e0rqueting d&#8217;influ\u00e8ncia. Per concloure amb els desafiaments \u00e8tics en el futur de la publicitat: els principis dactuaci\u00f3 publicit\u00e0ria i les manipulacions amb intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial.<\/p>\n<p>El recipiendari va concloure afirmant que els grans desafiaments \u00e8tics de la publicitat futura tindran a veure, sobretot, amb dos aspectes que el m\u00f3n digital ha deixat notablement indefensos: el respecte a la privadesa, assetjat per l&#8217;exhaustiu registre de les dades d&#8217;usuaris, i la capacitat de la intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial per manipular textos i imatges, arribant fins i tot a suplantar identitats. &#8220;La publicitat del futur haur\u00e0 de ser \u00e8tica o no ser\u00e0. I, com un principi b\u00e0sic d&#8217;actuaci\u00f3, s&#8217;haur\u00e0 de plantejar que qualsevol aven\u00e7 tecnol\u00f2gic ha de redundar en benefici tant de l&#8217;anunciant com dels receptors de la campanya, tant de l&#8217;empresa com del p\u00fablic, doncs a tots dos pertany i afecta la comunicaci\u00f3 publicit\u00e0ria. Si l&#8217;anunciant guanya, no pot ser a costa que el consumidor perdi o sigui enganyat m\u00e9s f\u00e0cilment, sin\u00f3 que els usuaris tamb\u00e9 han de guanyar&#8221;, va concloure.<\/p>\n<p>En la seva llarga traject\u00f2ria docent, M\u00e9ndiz d\u00f3na dirigit 26 tesis doctorals, ha estat investigador visitant a la <strong>Universitat Hebrea de Jerusalem<\/strong>, a la <strong>Universitat de La Sabana<\/strong> de Bogot\u00e0 i a la <strong>Universitat Cat\u00f2lica de Mil\u00e0<\/strong> i ha impartit cursos de m\u00e0ster i doctorat en una dotzena universitats espanyoles i europees. \u00c9s autor de 17 monografies especialitzades i m\u00e9s de 160 articles cient\u00edfics. La seva producci\u00f3 cient\u00edfica acumula m\u00e9s de 1.800 cites a <strong>Google Scholar<\/strong>. Entre els seus llibres destaquen obres de refer\u00e8ncia en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit de la comunicaci\u00f3, el m\u00e0rqueting i la publicitat com ara <strong>&#8220;Modelos de consumidor en la publicidad&#8221;<\/strong> (1996), <strong>&#8220;Publicidad, comunicaci\u00f3n y marketing en internet&#8221;<\/strong> (2002), <strong>&#8220;Nuevas formas publicitarias&#8221;<\/strong> (2005), <strong>&#8220;Falsedad y comunicaci\u00f3n&#8221;<\/strong> (2007), <strong>&#8220;Los valores en la publicidad&#8221;<\/strong> (2010), <strong>&#8220;Teor\u00eda de la publicidad&#8221;<\/strong> (2013) i <strong>&#8220;Historia de la publicidad&#8221;<\/strong> (2013). \u00c9s el fundador i president de l&#8217;<strong>Associaci\u00f3 Unesco per a la Promoci\u00f3 de l&#8217;\u00c8tica als Mitjans de Comunicaci\u00f3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u00bfHacia-donde-va-la-publicidad-Lecciones-del-pasado-para-intuir-el-futuro-Alfonso-Mendiz-compr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Llibre d&#8217;ingr\u00e9s &#8220;\u00bfHacia d\u00f3nde va la publicidad?
