{"id":109066,"date":"2021-12-03T08:40:18","date_gmt":"2021-12-03T08:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/?p=109066"},"modified":"2021-12-04T14:12:25","modified_gmt":"2021-12-04T14:12:25","slug":"la-fundacio-raed-finalitza-lestudi-pilot-de-contaminacio-marina-per-microplastics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raed.academy\/ca\/la-fundacio-raed-finalitza-lestudi-pilot-de-contaminacio-marina-per-microplastics\/","title":{"rendered":"La Fundaci\u00f3 RAED finalitza l&#8217;estudi pilot de contaminaci\u00f3 marina per micropl\u00e0stics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Miquel Ventura<\/strong>, director de projectes de la <strong>Fundaci\u00f3 Pro Reial Acad\u00e8mia Europea de Doctors<\/strong> i impulsor del projecte d&#8217;observaci\u00f3 i protecci\u00f3 de la biodiversitat marina <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Silmar<\/strong><\/a>, presenta un aven\u00e7 d&#8217;un dels projectes de la Fundaci\u00f3 a l&#8217;article <strong>&#8220;La Fundaci\u00f3 RAED finalitza l&#8217;estudi pilot de contaminaci\u00f3 marina per micropl\u00e0stics&#8221;<\/strong>, que complementa les seves reflexions recents sobre el paper que la Fundaci\u00f3 i la <strong>Reial Acad\u00e8mia Europea de Doctors-Barcelona 1914<\/strong> (RAED) ja estan jugant en aquest obligat canvi d&#8217;era en qu\u00e8 la humanitat es juga bona part del seu futur.<\/p>\n<h2>La Fundaci\u00f3 RAED finalitza l&#8217;estudi pilot de contaminaci\u00f3 marina per micropl\u00e0stics<\/h2>\n<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>projecte Silmar<\/strong><\/a> va finalitzar la temporada 2021 d&#8217;estudi d&#8217;h\u00e0bitats marins litorals de les estacions de la costa de Barcelona i Girona. Ara queda analitzar tota la informaci\u00f3 i redactar els informes finals per con\u00e8ixer l&#8217;evoluci\u00f3 que han experimentat els indicadors de qualitat ecol\u00f2gica, establir les diagnosis finals, aix\u00ed com els plans de millora ambiental que es proposaran a les administracions p\u00fabliques competents i a la societat perqu\u00e8 en prenguin coneixement. Al llarg d&#8217;aquest any, a banda de les tasques habituals en el marc de Silmar, hem treballat en el disseny d&#8217;un protocol cient\u00edfic \u00fatil per detectar la pres\u00e8ncia de micropl\u00e0stics i microfibres a les aig\u00fces marines de la costa. Aquest projecte es va iniciar l&#8217;any passat i en aquell moment ens vam centrar en l&#8217;estudi de micropl\u00e0stics presents a la sorra de les platges. (L&#8217;informe est\u00e0 disponible a la <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>web de la Fundaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>El disseny i el desenvolupament d&#8217;aquest treball cient\u00edfic deriva de l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia en temes marins de la unitat de projectes de la nostra Fundaci\u00f3, dels estudiants universitaris en pr\u00e0ctiques de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> i del suport acad\u00e8mic de membres de la RAED. D&#8217;altra banda, el finan\u00e7ament d&#8217;aquesta activitat ha estat possible gr\u00e0cies al <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diagonalmarcentre.es\/ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Centre Comercial Diagonal Mar<\/strong><\/a> i a l&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/ciutada.platjadaro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ajuntament de Castell Platja d&#8217;Aro<\/strong><\/a>, ambdues organitzacions implicades al <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>projecte Silmar<\/strong><\/a> des de fa tres i sis anys, respectivament. Tamb\u00e9 hem rebut la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de voluntaris que han cedit el seu temps i experi\u00e8ncia per fer els treballs de prova del protocol d&#8217;estudi i del mostreig pilot a la Costa Brava i al front litoral Barcelona, \u200b\u200ben aquest lloc hem tingut el suport d&#8217;una de les embarcacions cl\u00e0ssiques propietat del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmb.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Museu Mar\u00edtim de Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>La complexa realitat que ens aguaita<\/h2>\n<p>Anualment, m\u00e9s de 7,5 milions de tones de residus de pl\u00e0stic arriben als mars del m\u00f3n (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iucn.org\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>UICN<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rolleat.com\/es\/pnuma-programa-de-la-onu-para-el-medio-ambiente\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PNUMA<\/strong><\/a>-ONU, 2019). Els micropl\u00e0stics, petites peces de pl\u00e0stic de menys de cinc mil\u00b7l\u00edmetres de longitud constitueixen tan sols el 6% d&#8217;aquesta contaminaci\u00f3, per\u00f2 integren un potencial negatiu elevat en generar grans impactes sobre l&#8217;ecosistema i la salut humana. Les seves redu\u00efdes dimensions -els micropl\u00e0stics tenen una mida en el rang d&#8217;1\u202f\u00b5m-1\u202fmm fins als 0,5 cm- possibiliten que siguin ingerits per petits animals que formen part del pl\u00e0ncton i anar acumulant-se a la cadena aliment\u00e0ria, arribant de forma directa o indirecta als \u00e9ssers humans.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-109163\" src=\"https:\/\/raed.academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/proceso-de-bioacumulacion-de-contaminantes-organicos.jpg\" alt=\"proceso de bioacumulacion de contaminantes organicos\" width=\"667\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Els efectes d&#8217;aquest tipus de contaminants per a la salut comencen a ser estudiats en profunditat detectant efectes adversos a l&#8217;alteraci\u00f3 endocrina dels animals i modificant la forma natural en qu\u00e8 les hormones funcionen als organismes vius. Els micropl\u00e0stics, a m\u00e9s, tenen altres efectes negatius sobre la vida i els ecosistemes. D&#8217;una banda, la seva composici\u00f3 qu\u00edmica integra elements qu\u00edmics nocius i per altres hi ha el proc\u00e9s de <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/health\/scientific_committees\/opinions_layman\/es\/glosario\/abc\/bioacumulacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>bioacumulaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>, pel qual s&#8217;acumulen contaminants org\u00e0nics persistents addicionals a mesura que suren als nostres oceans. (Cucurachi et al., 2014)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Els micropl\u00e0stics s\u00f3n cada cop m\u00e9s freq\u00fcents als entorns que habitem i afecten de ple la cadena aliment\u00e0ria i la salut humana. En aquest context, la Uni\u00f3 Europea impulsa que els centres de recerca i els professionals de la salut centrin els esfor\u00e7os en els riscos que comporta aquesta situaci\u00f3 per al medi ambient, la biodiversitat i la nostra salut. D&#8217;altra banda, l&#8217;opini\u00f3 p\u00fablica comen\u00e7a a estar preocupada i reclama als poders p\u00fablics i les administracions que siguin m\u00e9s exigents amb el compliment de la legislaci\u00f3 per part de les empreses perqu\u00e8 integrin, en els processos productius, estrat\u00e8gies basades en l&#8217;ecodisseny i en els ecos productes per reduir o eliminar per complet aquest tipus de contaminaci\u00f3 adversa al medi ambient.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;estudi pilot de micropl\u00e0stics realitzat per la Fundaci\u00f3 RAED en el marc del <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>projecte Silmar<\/strong><\/a> est\u00e0 en la fase inicial d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi de les dades registrades a les campanyes marines per establir una diagnosi i conclusions d&#8217;aquest treball. (Cucurachi et al., 2014)[\/caption]\r\n\r\nEls micropl\u00e0stics s\u00f3n cada cop m\u00e9s freq\u00fcents als entorns que habitem i afecten de ple la cadena aliment\u00e0ria i la salut humana. En aquest context, la Uni\u00f3 Europea impulsa que els centres de recerca i els professionals de la salut centrin els esfor\u00e7os en els riscos que comporta aquesta situaci\u00f3 per al medi ambient, la biodiversitat i la nostra salut. D'altra banda, l'opini\u00f3 p\u00fablica comen\u00e7a a estar preocupada i reclama als poders p\u00fablics i les administracions que siguin m\u00e9s exigents amb el compliment de la legislaci\u00f3 per part de les empreses perqu\u00e8 integrin, en els processos productius, estrat\u00e8gies basades en l'ecodisseny i en els ecos productes per reduir o eliminar per complet aquest tipus de contaminaci\u00f3 adversa al medi ambient.\r\n\r\nL'estudi pilot de micropl\u00e0stics realitzat per la Fundaci\u00f3 RAED en el marc del <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionraed.org\/silmar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>projecte Silmar<\/strong><\/a> est\u00e0 en la fase inicial d'an\u00e0lisi de les dades registrades a les campanyes marines per establir una diagnosi i conclusions d'aquest treball.
