La comprovaci\u00f3, per a la qual es requeria una velocitat i energia que actualment no es poden aconseguir, ha estat possible gr\u00e0cies a les observacions realitzades al laboratori <strong>IceCube<\/strong> de l&#8217;Ant\u00e0rtida, situat a nom\u00e9s un quil\u00f2metre de el pol sud.<\/p>\n<p>El descobriment ha estat possible gr\u00e0cies al fet que a l&#8217;any 2016 un raig c\u00f2smic amb antineutrins molt energ\u00e8tics va interactuar amb els electrons del gel produint la resson\u00e0ncia que va quedar registrada per l&#8217;IceCube, tot i que no ha estat confirmat i fet p\u00fablic a la comunitat cient\u00edfica fins ara, quan el descobriment i el seu estudi apareixen publicats a la reconeguda revista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>&#8220;Nature&#8221;<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Glashow va anticipar a la d\u00e8cada dels 60 que es podia produir un bos\u00f3 W negatiu, una part\u00edcula subat\u00f2mica descoberta al <strong>Centre Europeu per a la Recerca Nuclear<\/strong> (CERN) anys despr\u00e9s, a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;un proc\u00e9s conegut com resson\u00e0ncia. Aquest suposa la creaci\u00f3 de part\u00edcules amb una vida mitjana molt curta dins d&#8217;una finestra d&#8217;energia concreta, segons explica <strong>Gianluca Calcagni<\/strong>, f\u00edsic de l&#8217;<strong>Institut d&#8217;Estructura de la Mat\u00e8ria<\/strong> del <strong>Centre Superior d&#8217;Investigacions Cient\u00edfiques<\/strong>. Perqu\u00e8 l&#8217;esdeveniment passi cal la interacci\u00f3 de dos components: un electr\u00f3 i un antineutr\u00ed del tipus electr\u00f2nic. Els antineutrins s\u00f3n tamb\u00e9 part\u00edcules elementals subat\u00f2miques amb una massa molt petita. \u00c9s la versi\u00f3 antimat\u00e8ria d&#8217;un neutr\u00ed. A m\u00e9s, l\u00f2gicament, de constituir una nova pe\u00e7a que encaixa en la formulaci\u00f3 d&#8217;un model de part\u00edcules que \u00e9s el fonament de la F\u00edsica actual a qu\u00e8 es refereix el mateix Glashow a l&#8217;article que presentar\u00e0 dins del marc del projecte <strong>Reptes Vitals per a una Nova Era<\/strong> que impulsa la <strong>Fundaci\u00f3 Pro Reial Acad\u00e8mia Europea de Doctors<\/strong> conjuntament amb la <strong>RAED<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El model est\u00e0ndard de la f\u00edsica de part\u00edcules \u00e9s una teoria de calibres basada en un grup de Lie de tres components, en qu\u00e8 els bosons -fotons, vuit gluons i tres intermediaris febles- actuen sobre tres fam\u00edlies estranyament similars de fermions fonamentals de quarks i leptons. Les seves interaccions generen totes les forces de la natura amb l&#8217;excepci\u00f3 de la gravetat. Pel que fa a la cosmologia, l&#8217;actual model est\u00e0ndard proporciona una descripci\u00f3 quantitativa d&#8217;un univers que va comen\u00e7ar al Big Bang i que s&#8217;est\u00e0 expandint des de llavors.
