The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) has called the September 15 elections to a new Governing Board four years after the election of the current, chaired by academician Alfredo Rocafort. The call almost a year now advances to the expiration of the mandate for the express purpose of the Presidency to give a new twist to the institution’s activity and development from the academic year 2017-2018.

“This breakthrough will not mean much unless I don’t want to lead this new project, together with a renewed Government Board, opposite -explains Rocafort-. But institutions must be able to renew partially or totally. That is why all those other sensibilities of the Academy have the option of lead other different projects. Therefore, elections allow all academicians who wish to submit their candidature, with their projects, to the General Meeting”.
