Oriol Amat: article of family businesses in "El Punt Avui"
Oriol Amat, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) and president of the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (ACCID), invites family companies to establish the so-called “family protocol” to guarantee the future of societies that have a decisive weight in the Spanish economy.
“Family businesses are fundamental to our economy -says the academician-. Representing approximately 90% of activity and occupation. Unfortunately, many studies indicate that only 40% survive the second generation and only 15% to the third”. Amat exposes these theses in an article that publishes the last edition of “L’Econòmic”, the supplement of Economy of the Catalan newspaper “El Punt Avui”.
