The General Board is the expression of the Academy as a corporation constituted by the Numerary Academicians and Emeritus Academicians.
The Academy, meeting at the General Board, shall deliberate and agree upon provisions on all its governmental and economic affairs, election of Numerary Academicians and Honorary Academicians, approval of annual budget and annual accounts, award of prizes, award of rewards, discernment of Positions of the Governing Board, approval of reports and cultural relations.
The Academy will issue opinions and evaluate the consultations and reports requested by official centers, corporations or individuals, in matters specific to its institute.
For the alternative resolution of conflicts it will be able to designate Arbitrators or to constitute Tribunals of Arbitration given the interdisciplinary condition and the moral authority that offers the Academy.
It may also raise, on its own initiative, in the official centers, proposals that affect the Sciences, Letters, Health, Arts or Technique, from the two spheres, theoretical, one, and application, the other.
The General Board may consist of one hundred and fifty Numerary Academicians and Emeritus Academicians from Numerary Academicians.
