The academicians Lorenzo Gascón, Alfredo Rocafort, Joaquim Gironella and José Daniel Barquero form part of the Spain Squadron

The General Staff of the Company of Musketeers of Armagnac summons the Grand Chapter of the Spain Squadron, which will be held on May 25 in the Atlantes Room of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona. During the act will proceed to the enthronement of new musketeers of the Squadron. All attendees will receive a copy of the latest publication of the Grand Chapter “D’Artagnan. Mosquetero al servicio del Cardenal” (D’Artagnan, Musketeer at the service of the Cardinal). The transcript of the conference will be dictated by the musketeer Daniel Fernández.

They are part of the Spain Squadron Oriol Bracons, captain lieutenant; the academician of honour of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) Lorenzo Gascón, who holds the honour of being the guardian of the seal, and Musketeers Alfredo Rocafort, president of the Board of Government of the RAED; Joaquim Gironella, full academician, and José Daniel Barquero, also  full academician, among other personalities from the social, cultural and business world.

The Company of Musketeers of Armagnac was founded in 1951 by General Baston, former General of French aviation and businessman of Armagnac. It’s headed by its captain, Aymery de Montesquiou, direct descendant of D’Artagnan, and its secretary general, François Rivière. It has its headquarters in Auch (France) and currently has more than 3,000 musketeers around the world, chosen for their entrepreneurial spirit and their personal and professional relevance in different sectors of activity: businessmen, professionals from the world of culture, gastronomy, the media … Its motto is the famous motto of the legendary D’Artagnan: “All for one … One for all”.
