Alfredo Rocafort, president of Governing Board of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), outlines in an interview published in La Contra of “La Vanguardia” the activity of the RAED and its future challenges. Rocafort points out how the firm commitment to the internationalization of the institution and the introduction of prestigious intellectuals and Nobel prizes in its bosom reinforce a centenarian trajectory dedicated to the service to the society. Likewise, he considers that its Europeanism and defense of democratic values and its unceasing activity make the Royal Academy a useful and reference instrument.
